Control Arm Brushings, tranny mounts will fix wheel hop, if you hookup you will break your axles
Just informing you if you get wheelhop your a decently aggresive driver so just a heads up
dont worry im aggressive to
anyway welcome to doom!

not to be off topic whats better, the ingalls or a solid/urethane trans mount?, everyone seems to liek the ingalls but i hoenslty dont want any extra noises or vibrations(not why i bought the car)
Get the mounts the ignalls are week by themselves a lot of people ave problems with the brackets bending including me.Also check out Bwoody tracion bars if you are planning to go to the track often.
im not gunna need traction bars, imnot really racing the cobalt (although i did buy a knn cai, and magnaflow exhaust before i even got the car lol) its just a nice play toy, so mayb the ingalls is the way to go
thanks guys
thanks guys

Honestly if you drive it hard enough to get wheel hop, you might want to pick up some drive shop level 2 axles, or get a set out of an 04-05 redline they are alot stronger
Axles on the cobalt is a joke they taper down before the cv joint and break very easy
If you want a play toy, I would say pickup a 2.8" pulley some 60lb injectors get a safe/mild tune the CAI you already have is a must. The dc strut bar is also nice.
You will have a very fun and reliable DD with about 240-260whp not to much but enough to have some fun if you feel the need
The above is about the max i would go safely on the stock internals, I just found that out but it is more than safe

Also might look into a Cobra Heat Exchanger, or a dual pass intercooler to if you want a fun side project
yeah i was looking at the cobra heat exchanger swap it did look pretty cool, in fact i have a friend w/ an 04 torch red cobra that he recetnyl slide into a divider on a local highway....mayb i cna ****** his. thanks guys for all the input, yeah at this rate the wheelhop in 1st and 2nd im gunna need a set of axles prob soon.....other then that i love this car!
