yea my gmpp is starting to sound a little funny at times. coming up thru the rpm's in 2nd, 3rd... i get a whistle sound that's almost like a BOV above about 4k, i plan on wrapping the tubing at each joint and see if that helps fix it cuz i did use all new gaskets when i put it on but i think it's leaking somewhere. but now it also sounds "hollow" at times when warmed up at idle, it's deep yet but idk how to explain it... the only thing i'm thinking it could be is the resonator or the muffler starting to blow out, when i'm under there going back into summer mode i'll mess around with it

stock dp has 2 cats i believe, but regardless the resonator should be right after the connection between the bottom dp flange and the catback

you may be alright being catted and a nice muffler, did i see a borla? if so i think you'll be fine. if you don't like it just get like a 18" long magnaflow 6" round muffler welded in and see how that is

it'll still be raspy because it's high flow and supercharged.Tons of added airflow(and exhaust flow).I had a 3 inch in obx rice rocket muffler which was 18" long and also had/have a magnaflow resonator thats something like 22" long and it was still ricey.

Yeah supercharged exhaust is hard to sound right, thats why I love turbo lol. No cat, no res, magnaflow box style muffler, 3" header back, sounds amazing.

I know, but the reason that ''you're'' (not your fault specifically, just in general) still using it is beyond beyond me. What is it, UK, US and Liberia?

the cost of changing everything from inches to meters? the rest of the world has done it many years ago. Everything is simple, everything is orderly, everything is consistent!

(don't think I'm attacking you or arguing with you, I'm just stating)

I'm Canadian and I prefer Inches and Feet, I find it easier to use then Meters
