Mine did on my last hood. That's why this one got taken care of before installation. Wait till you err what I'm going to do for my cf trunk. I've yet to see it done on a cobalt

but...... i see that you have the sticker/trim line on the side but the driver side stops at the mirror on the door, and the passenger side stops at the headlight......???? am i looking wrong or something???? or you missing or they took it off?

i never had good luck with the meguires hot shine. dont get me wrong it looked great but i had it all over the car on the first drive even after letting it sit 2 + hours.

I know what you mean. Thats why I usually wipe it after I spray it. I dont like super super wet looking tires. Also, it prevents it from getting all over the paint like you mentioned.

x2 does look very nice, id like to start using a buffer but im too afraid im going to mess something up. for now ill keep working with the trusty elbow
