Patriotic Photos for My Chevy (America's Heartbeat)... 56K=pwnage

For those that don't know. I'm in the PA Army National Guard, I do photography and Graphic design during the week for the Army. I was tasked to photograph our cemetery today because we have a memorial set up there for the fallen soldiers of Iraq and Afghanistan. While I had the camera I took an the opportunity to snap a few of the 'balt. So here are my pics of the SS and some of the better photos of the memorial -- *God Bless America*

Those are amazing pictures....god bless our soliders!!!!!!!!!

I was in Gettysburg, on Monday for Memorial Day and got the chance to talk to a soldier who was home on leave and was at the parade, he was so happy to be home, and happy to be able to spend the day with his wife and daughter...people kept coming up during the parade route and thanking him...it was amazing...prior to the parade starting two bus loads of wounded soldiers from Bethsheda and i can't remember the other hospital came in for the parade they had private seating for the parade, while the buses drove by. Every one stood up and clapped and waved their flags......after the parade while we were walking back to our cars i saw some of the soldiers standing while people went to shake their hands and hug them....i then saw one soldier in a wheel chair with no legs looking at him i realized that he could be no older then myself(24) i started to tear up realizing that my family and my friends, and everyone else who has family and friends are over there protecting our rights as Americans.....i then started to think about my Brother who is 18 who just enlisted in the Marines, and that in a few short months he will get his orders to go to Iraq or Afganhistan..........i then sat there and cried for a few minutes realizing what many other families have gone through!!!!!

To our fellow Css.net soldiers and all soldiers past or present....THANK YOU

Thank you. They were a pain to get apart but they turned out nice.

The grounds keepers do a good job back there, and the shadows created by the trees on a sunny day are awesome. The flags were really something to see. You rarely get to see that much red white and blue in one place. I had to share 'em.

That's one good thing about working for the government. They go all out on some things. I got a box load of goodies the other week that I didn't even ask for...lol. Somewhere around 800 bucks worth.

Very nice pics! Those wheels remind me of the new Camaro convertible's. Except yours have the middle of the spoke gone...

well you can tell him thanks for serving. I've told every single one of my friends that have been over I appreciate it. Doesn't matter if you're in or not. If anything we're the one's that have to make sure the guys and girls next to us are appreciated.

no idea, it's a brand new memorial we put up just this year, so they may intend to keep it up year round, but there is no previous year to reference.

That's awesome man.
Two of my friends who I've known since I was literally 7 years old are being shipped out for basic for the Navy in about a month. I'm sure they'll be fine but I just can't help worrying, ya know?

Thank you. I did them. I bought the color matched paint from the dealership. 2 [small] cans and I still have some left.

p.s.- I followed the how-to on here and it came out fine.
