Picked up another car

2003 Evo 8, 69,000 miles. Going to do a boost leak test and compression test tomorrow. Overall in pretty decent shape. Paint needs a little attention but can be revived. Has a little curb rash on 2 rims, so I plan to paint them. Has Works Exhaust and Works throttle body. I'm not liking the idle or the way the throttle body behaves, so I'll be putting a stock throttle body back on it. Will be great to have over here in Germany since I won't be able to get the cobalt over here. I'm excited, I've always wanted one. Once I PCS back to the states I'll have a hell of a driveway, '06 Cobalt SS/SC Coupe, '03 Evo 8, and '07 Hayabusa. haha.

16,500 was what I gave them. I figured that wasn't too bad considering the low mileage. Plus it's in really good shape, especially the interior. Looks brand new on the inside. It's just you can tell they didn't really wax it. I'm the 3rd owner. The previous owner to me only put 30,000 miles on it in 4 years. They got rid of it because they have a 2nd kid on the way and they want an SUV.

Right now I don't plan on going wingless, I like the way the small spoiler looks. Makes it look very subtle, more like a regular lancer. But once I get it back to the states, I'll probably do a carbon fiber hood and trunk with some bronze wheels. For now just going to paint the stockers black probably, I dunno, might try to get a bronze color on them, we'll see.

compression is good. throttle body has a bunch of leaks. I have a stock throttle body on the way with all new seals and gasket. Can't wait to get this Works throttle body off the car. It makes the car all jumpy and ****, especially on initial cold start up.

I'm jealous of the living in Germany part. Lived there for a year after high school. My uncle owns a BMW dealership and let me drive the '06 M5 down the autobahn. Best drive ever!!!
