Sounds good. I'm deployed with a guy from youngstown used to have an sti.

 

But if my transmission breaks tomorrow I can go to GM and have it replaced on their $. This is the dilemma that I face. Go further and never have hope of warranty work, or stop where I'm at and take it in with no problems.

Gota pay to play...which goes back to one of your first questions...theres nothing you can really do to this car performance wise, that you don't have already, that won't void the warranty. If you just so happen to know people in the service department, you can sometimes get away with repairs even though you are modded.
