you ss/sc guys are lucky with your valve covers and having so many flat surfaces. mine is all arched and grooved.

how i did it lol...

8 hours and about $300 worth of tools. nothing on that was done by hand except the final polish after it was put in the car. semi-complicated process that would take me an hour to explain

hehe, wait until i do the paxton charger this week. today i was out of 2000 grit paper, so this valve cover is only down to 1000 grit. the paxton will be to a F'n mirror finish

Your right, not to mention that the two humps over each cam are different sizes -- the aft exhaust cam section is smaller than the front intake section so it never will look perfect...makes you wonder why GM did that.....maybe for the spark plug wire routing.

SS/SC engine look good with polished VCs!

oh ya they look really good with the blower and VC polished. and i still did mine. i have to touch it up in the spring as its a little dirty right now.

nah i almost killed myself with it, and decided fwd cars don't need 400hp. sold it a few months back to someone out of tennessee, so someone is running around with a 400whp gt-k setup, don't know if they're on here or not i sold the kit on racingjunk.com

i went and bought a supra so i can have a big power car, but rwd lol
