A REFLECTION OF 2011
Thought I'd be interesting to see how my car has been modified since I bought her. I picked her up in December of 09 for my 18th birthday. This is my first & only car. My parents gave me 1k as a down payment, and the rest was on me. The car was bought used with 20k miles on it. It's a 2008 2.4l Sport. I bought this before I was educated on the different types of Cobalts. I wish I had known and picked up a turbo SS, but I love this car to death and I am keeping it for awhile as my DD.
This was when I first brought her home. Added the stupid little transformer decal, didn't last more than a week lol. First thing I did was get 20% tints all the way around.

Next came some vinyl tinted tails.

Then I decided to rattle can the stockers black. I know, it looked like every other cobalt. I also decided to do the evo mod as well as the front cross bar black.

The Black stockers didn't appeal to me, since it looked like every one else in my area. So decided to be different & rattle canned them gold.

Then I picked these up on here for a pretty good deal. The handling was amazing.

Wasn't too happy with the drop, but that was to be expected since they're track coils.

Then to match my wheels, I painted the valve cover gold. As well as installed the ARK Strut bar.

Then came my interior. Decided to go with red. Also placed the sport badge from the back in there as well. Liked it for awhile. It is currently black, just dont have a picture.

I picked these up via trade. They sat in my closet for almost a year before I decided to work on my system.

Got a 2000w Power Acoustik Amp for free from my girlfriends brother as well as a free box.

Next came a new suspension setup. I decided I wanted to get into the stance game, since I was driving a slow 4 door. I traded my old suspension for some KW V2's. When I got them on, I was in love with my car on a whole different level.

My car currently still looks like that, only thing is i've added a 16" vinyl decal on the front windshield in the lower center that says "Slobalt" in script.
FUTURE PLANS:
Hope you enjoy! Any feedback is welcome.
