my buddies 1990 h22 accord
he got it as a stock white f22 auto.. swapped in a h22a1 5-spd... it was quick.






Jetta GLI i saw at the mall:

 

not feeling the back end

 

i think z3 style fenders look stupid on anything other than... cough... a z3... don't like the back of that kit either... just my personal preference though

 

its a good sleeper, someone pulls up and is like haha a ricey accord, and then....

 

Like the side shot, rice rear bumper!!

 

dont look bad i dont care for the rear of the car

 

If they are driving anything thats actually worth racing, they destroy the accord.

I like the effort and time spent on swapping the drive train.
I don't like the body kit or the fact that it's still naturally aspirated after all that work.
But, It's not my car. It's the owners car and if it makes him happy and he loves it! Power To Him!!!

 

i never thought it was all that ricey to be honest. yeah, the body kit is kinda corny, but it was well fitted, and the paint job is VERY nice. but the interior sucks. lol

it definitly didn't sound like a major rice mobile

he drives a stock passat now. he put that accord into a wall . not enough time or money spent on suspension and brakes

 

i loath the rear but i love the side and under the hood its very clean

 

Looks like a well done swap... not feeling the rear, but i've seen much worse.

 

I like it except the rear bumper.. And those H22's are strong motors... I would 50 shot it and run down many cars.

 

Looks pretty ricey to me, but that's just my opinion. Good job on the motor/tranny swap, but the exterior is awful.

 

I'm more of a all go no show kinda guy and that screams a lot of show and some go, not my thing personally. But if it were done tastfully then it would have been sweet but its overdone.
