Simple & Clean Retrofit
It should... I know I played around with the adjustments for a bit to get them right and had no problems. But like I said, take those measurements before you raise them because I was certain I did them to specs... if you raise them too high, you will blind people and only risk getting pulled over for not having your lights aimed properly.
ok sounds good. i'd say to try a parkade... pretty level flat areas and should be a wall you can shine lights on... definitely do the measurement technique to get it near 100% or you will have problems.
Here is that wiring diagram I've been promising that I use. I basically took Merc's wiring diagram and knowledge from hidplanet and some I already had and re-drew it to be easier for me to read. I also included some notes to further clarify for anyone who wants to use it.

that's a good question actually... it really is a love/hate with the new lights off of eBay. Some pros/cons vs the OEM ones are:
Pros:
Sealant is much easier to heat and remove (very big pro)
Pre-painted black (for those who want it)
Cons:
Fitment isn't 100% stock (nearly close though)
Quality of components (such as reflector studs, plastic material itself) isn't as good as OEM, but decent
So although there are some issues, most of which can be corrected during the retrofit process, the ease of removing sealant and thus re-sealing without fogging is a huge plus.
Not to mention that most people can't go without headlights while I retrofit and don't have a spare set, so $140 shipped for a brand new set is a nice perk as well.

how were the ones i sent you? they were supposedly pretty nice, and because i never saw them, haha. not really to worried, i still have my stockers. if you want those, by the way, for future projects, i'll send them you way when i get the chance.
Yeah, the ones you sent me were just fine... just really have to take a few extra precautions to make sure things that would never happen on OEMs don't happen on these guys. If you would do that, that would be pretty sweet. We can discuss arrangements later if and when you still want to, thanks for offer though
looking great bro , did you use those lexus lights yet? the yellow halos look so sick ! i'm really glad its all going well for you. like i said before ...if you need anything , let me know...i'll keep my eyes open.
@Ion - yeah, for this particular set. I did make a custom shield to wrap around the projectors to prevent light bleed. And like I said the shroud covers everything up and I think the look of the oem reflector is nice in itself, so making something extra would be counter intuitive in this situation imo.

Eric - yeah, any automotive shop should have a dental pick set... just anything that is long, skinny and curves with a sharp point. Then you can come in from behind and carefully pick at the shroud and pull towards the opening you are inserting the pick from, that will correct the issue with the shroud. As for the bulb, would it be faster/easier to get it locally and I'll paypal you whatever it costs? Then no shipping cost or wait time.
@ cblt12 - oh yeah... I remember that, wow that was a while ago! Were they the halos with the black inverters? if so then for wiring, just follow that diagram I posted and splice the halo into the sidemarker bulb. Red wire with brown wire and black wire with black wire. Be sure to post pics... your current set looks very nice as well
