SS/TC Synapse Turbo polished intercooler
Just polished my intercooler. Used the 2-stage polishing kit by Britemax. Did the "end pieces" with my 10" buffer, the rest was by hand. Used 1000 grit wet sand paper to clean up the metal first. 1000 grit was large enough to remove the crap without excessive elbow grease and small enough to be cleaned up and smoothed out by the Britemax. Heres two pics that really don't do it justice:

end tanks have a almost mirror finish. There was some surface imperfections that are visible, very light pitting. I also did the horizontal bars by hand. If you can imagine how aluminum gets from being exposed to weather, it looked hazy, had crud in it and such and now it looks shiny. Pictures don't do justice
