Looks like Im not the only one that can beat SRT4's

 

impressive races. The SRT-4 can neva los3!! (Just kidding) but it was pretty good races. That WRX kinda sucked. Very disappointing actually. I've ran stock for stock races against anr SRT-4 that had three people in the car and me and my girlfriend and about 200lbs worth of baggage in the trunk and it was a dead even race up to 130mph then I missed 5th :/ *doh*, I don't even try with Evo's. Not worth it..

That cobalt SS must have been really fast or that srt-4 was slow.

The SS must have Intake, Pulley, and Exhaust. And the SRT Stock. There is no way we could pull like that!!! But I do like it hahah.

 

i would like to think that SS only had an intake aswell

Stock for Stock a STR-4 will pull a half car to a car on the Cobalt SS/SC... Unless ur SS is modded or they can't drive the SRT-4 wins.

Alright here is some stats so I don't here all this BS. And I know some things are possible but,

Cobalt SS
HP-205 hp @ 5600 rpm
Twq-200 lb-ft @ 4400rpm
Top speed-147
Most people wont get under 14.8 but seen it as low as 14.4 Stock

SRT-4
HP-230 hp @ 5300 rpm
Twq-250 lb-ft @ 2200 rpm
Top Speed-153
Most people wont get under 14.3 in the SRT-4 but seen it as low as 13.9, 13.8 stock.

Now this being said, I'm not hating on the our Cobalts, but Stock for Stock the SRT-4 wins.

 

lol, here we go with the specs again.... It's about driving the car, down at the track, ive seen stage 1 srts run 14.2 all day.

 

So your saying all S1 SRT's run no faster than 14.2, and all SS's run no faster than 14.8?

 

yea it def. has to do with the drivers ability, but whats under the hood DEF. matters, its never all driver.

 

yes i know, hold on a second lemme try to explain what i mean. My friend has a 02? Mustang GT with a cat-back and fat tires. I always ask him to run and he always says " Oh, its not worth it, i'll murder you...".... yet he never will run me. I'm just saying you never know until you actually try it.... i mean his car should be running faster than mine but i think i am a better driver then him so.... i think you get what i mean now.lol

I wasn't trying to say our car is slow and doesn't have the ability, but your not going to run into a horrbile driver every time you beat SRT-4's. But of course when you run into a guy/girl who can't drive you have a chance to beat them. All I was trying to say was, you get a really good driver for each car, the SRT-4 will win. They don't have more HP and TWQ for nothing.

Also about GT Mustangs. I am on the MustangForums.com borad and talk to them all the time. Now the GT Stang Vs Cobalt/SRT-4 is a sour note on that site. Now say that, It's a drivers race between a GT Stang vs SRT-4 from a Dig, and the SRT-4 will murder it from a roll. Now here is where I always get involved. I know from a dig if you have 2 good drivers, the GT will win from a dig, but from a roll they wont. And I know this goes for any board of any type of car, you have about 75% of the people who are complete jackasses and think there car can't be beat. But they sit there and constantly tell me a GT stang will run a 13.9 all day long and the Cobalt SS stand no chance from a roll against it. Now I don't car what anyone says, when you go to the track and watch stock GT Stangs run they are going to run 13.9's. They might run a 14.3, 14.2 at the best all day. I know the Stang has a lot more HP and TWQ and does have some top end, but it's top end isn't nowhere near what the Cobalt has. I have raced 4 stock GT stangs and 1 with Ram Air, headers and full exhaust and have let to loss from a roll against them. Beat the 1st 4 by a car and the last one by a fender.
