With 505hp, drs are a necessity...and we thought we had problems hooking up. In this case I would still consider drags only still in the stock category (especially if they were DOT legal) because without them you can't really let the car run at its full potential. This can be proven by the fact that he took about one full second off the quarter mile time by the switch. For comparison if the same was done with a stock SS/SC I don't think the times would change as much. Also, you don't have control over what tires your car comes with. For example, if the people with the base level cobalts who got stuck with the crappy continental got better tires I would still consider them stock. But that's just my opinion...either way it's an amazing time for the best car in the US, hands down.

So that changes the fact that a 10.85 has been accomplished with a show room Z06 (No tuning, stock filter, stock clutch, etc.)? I'm sorry but it doesn't.

Awesome time! I'm Jealous.

How many z06s sit in the show room with DRs?

Its absolutely fantastic that the Z06 ran that fast with a minor mod. Thats pretty sweet.

But the car is not showroom stock.

this argument about DR's is stupid. DR's do not add power to the car, but they do make the car go faster b/c traction so you can cal it a mod. But honestly who the **** cares the car ******* stock and with some sticky rubber it ran 10.85. The fact u guys are arguing about this is just dumb.

DR's just give a better indication of power. It lowers the loss of power to the ground, no power added.
