On a serious note I could very well buy these for my DD now, as I don't want reliability issues from HID's but I need a better bulb and was considering Silverstar's anyhow.

Maybe you'll make a margin of the sale? LOL.

I looked them up, they run around $50.

 

Those look like some really nice bulbs, probably the whitest output I've seen out of halogens yet. Is this a blue coated bulb? How's brightness compared to standard bulbs?

 

What does a "real" SS have anything to do with light output?

 

Neat comm. Ill keep my retrofits tho! nothing can compare with the output retrofits have.
