Nice vid.

Your exhaust sounded great when you first started driving.

I was looking at one to do some first person shots mountain biking/skiing. The clarity is definitely there, and a lot less jitter.

Just checked your leg-mount runs. I'm very impressed that the board shudder didn't transmit significantly to the camera. One of the reasons I've been filming essentially hand-held on my trips is that any of the less-controlled mounts always seemed to shake like an epileptic. I will need to consider getting this - especially mounting as a helmet-cam for the mountain.

I found the Hero2 really does shoot better in low light then the HDHero did. Indoor go-kart track under almost the same conditions and the Hero2 was clear and bright but the HDHero had noise and dark moments.

Do you have any board-vid posts? I'd dig seeing how those came out, since I was thinking of modding a camera mount for my ski and doing a ground-effect vid. Either that, or a boot mount, but I didn't see any camera's that would take the vibration - this is promising.

My bud and I try to get unique shots of off-piste and glades, and I'm really getting sick of navigating while holding a camera steady!

Tried some different mounting locations

Mounted to hood then bent down in front of grill (sits right above bow tie)

Mounted to driver door right above SS emblem
