Those with Black Balts

Those who have a black Cobalt, rather it be 2.2, 2.4, SS or whatever, do you guys like the look of your car with or without your spoiler? I have the high-rise on mine that came with the car, but I like the look without the spoiler. I think it would look great without a spoiler and lowered, but it might be awhile til I get some lowering springs. Either way, just trying to get some opinions.

You'll find a pretty even split of people who like it with the high rise and without.

I should be getting mine tinted within the next couple of weeks, I was more concerned with the intake and tune first, LOL. I'll take it off and see how I like it for awhile, then once I get the tint down and lowered I'm sure I'll love it. Thanks for all the responses.

For those who took the spoiler off, how did you plug the holes on the trunk?

i swapped trunks with some random person i found with a base model haha. thats really what it came down to. trying to find someone on here with a wingless black trunk is nearly impossible

I believe I heard there was some plugs you could buy from like Lowes or Home Depot and could stick into the little holes that away no water or anything would seep into the trunk. I know there is something, just rather have it before I take the spoiler off.

Will probably just buy the Eibach Sportlines. Would rather just lower it about an inch in front and back, but I think the Sportlines will do.

i kinda fabbed up my own with 2 small washer to fill the 2 smaller holes and 2 bigger washers for the 2 bigger ones. I painted the washers and hex bolts black. So on the outside yo uhave the black metal washer and black hex bolt and the inside you have a neoprene washer (same size) to keep the water out and a metal washer under the neoprene (again, same size) then the nut. It looks clean and you can barely tell. I promise.

IMO wingless just looks nice and clean. I had the shopping cart factory wing on my SS/SC and HATED it, I have the low rise on my SS/TC and don't hate it but I prefer nothing just a nice and smooth look.

That seems like alot of work when I know there are certain rubber inserts you can just plug into the holes. I was gonna get some for my 01 Mustang GT when I had it, but I never got around to it and my Mustang was Silver, and the inserts I found were black, which would work perfect for my Cobalt.

It was done by a friend in a body shop. the holes were filled with metal plugs that were welded in and smoothed. the trunk was then completely re-painted.
