These were taken with a D40. I didn't mess with any of the settings because we were losing light real fast and I just wanted to snap some off and hope they didn't look too bad. Took around 15-20 shots, but these three stood out a little from the rest.

Obviously, the big weed growing from my tail pipe kills this shot...other than that, I liked it.

I like that first pic your eyes wanna focus on the car but I keep wondering if im gonna see a train pass by.

 

bet that wood over there smelt like ****, you could probably smell it from where you were.
Nice car man, just dont have it by the tracks when a train goes by, dont want rail dust on your new car

I took some shots of my old Z24 there as well. No train then either. I just missed the train this time...It had just went by when we were going up to the spot. I'll catch the train sometime and get some shots with it going by.

Thanks guys...as for the location, it is in upper east TN right along the border of NC just about. It's in Unicoi County. Just about 45 minutes from Morristown actually.

And as for getting up on the tracks...I'd be scared as hell! I'd only do it if I knew that the tracks were out of business. It would make for a killer shot though!

I'll go ahead and throw up a few of my old red Z24 in the same spot. I still miss this car.
