M&H 22/9.0-13, mounted on 13x8 Bogart Fly-Stars.

Like Delta's, J-Bodies are plauged with shitty gear ratios, stock tire height is 25" btw.

I'm not arguing with you, but I'm curious who makes the head your speaking of.

This head out-flows the m2race CNC head, which flows more than the GM Racing Cylinder head.

Unless its another privatier I'm unaware exists.

Great work. Can't wait to see 12's and perhaps see it in person one day

The M2Race head is only a CNC ported head. It's just a port job that someone programmed into a computer to repeat. Mostly for mass production.

The GM Racing Cylinder head is just an exhaust ported head from what I've been told.

I'm not 100% positive, but I think ZZP's port jobs flow a little more than yours. But you'd have to check with them.

My head flows more than yours, but mine isn't a CNC port. I paid alot of money for the hand port that's been done on mine. A lot of work was put into it.

Regardless, your head is one of the higher flowing out there for sure.

What's next in the build to make it leap into the 12's? I'm guessing figure out why the top end is sluggish as you've mentioned?

Yup, thats the plan....I haven't looked into anything on the motor since I put it in the car, gonna pull the plugs and see what they look like, might even do a compression test for ***** and giggles, just to cross that off the list for sure.

Gotta go over my tune again, its still not 100%, ran out of time before the last race to get it finished, so I'm gonna do that.

Got an idea for a new air intake that should help on the top end some, a hacked together bird-catcher setup.

My alignment is super fucked, I have some very funky wear pattern on my slicks from the last event, never got it aligned after I dropped the subframe and took the suspension out. So its going in for an alignment (i almost think my toe might be out a significant amount, which might explain the high end sluggishness)

Other than that, hope for some colder weather for the next race day, its was in the mid 90's the last time.

I know none of those things make a big differance by themselves, but all together they should make some differance.

All-Motor set-ups take alot of fine tuning...I'm only working with like ~205whp over here.....thats not alot of ponies to put a 2550lbs car (w. driver) into the 12's.....LOL

I didn't even think that alignment would be an issue, but you are absoulutely right. If your alignment is that bad, it will definitely slow you down up top. Hopefully that's all it is.

Good luck man, I hope you get 12s!

haha ya especially on a 9" slick, that could be alot of drag...lol

We will see how it goes...I hope it runs a 12 too.

If I can run a 13.07 IIRC it would be the worlds fastest all-motor J-Body I'm pretty sure, at least the fastest known all-motor J-Body.

The shop may be good. No arguments there. Their tuning ability just isn't any good at all. I'm not here to start any arguments but simply state a personal experience.

Newt. If you run lower than what you did I will be really jealous. I hope you do run better yet.

Fix that alignment, and pull some more weight out. Hit that 12 man!
