yeah, corey, i walked by one of the armored 7 series beemers they have at the embassy here, and the halo's on those are freakin huge! so, i just thought i'd ask. mine look pretty big, its just hard to tell because our headlights are big, but proportional, so its difficult.

Thanks again everyone.

will - yeah those special 7-series are pretty sick! The halos used on yours were pretty big... as big if not bigger than the 105mm halos I usually use.

Here are some updated pics of one totally finished light, having the tinted turn signal covers in place. 1 pic showing more detail of the vacuum shroud, and 1 pic with and 1 pic without a halo.

How much exactly do you charge for a retrofit?

What did you use to enclose the blinker area?

@ SSdan - $250 which is for my labor and misc. parts... total cost of parts on the other hand is usually like $450 including wiring and everything all said and done. So for a retro, you are looking at $700ish

@ JRelly - that's actually the OEM blinker cover, which I frosted and tinted slightly... if that's what you mean by enclose?

Not the square piece the other part. It looks like its enclosed and not open like usual. I thought the orange piece there was concave and not flat? Maybe I'm seeing the pic wrong or something

hmm... I dunno what you are seeing because that's completely stock. The bezel and the cover are both from OEM headlights...

Your probably thinking of the newer cobalt headlights 07+. They did not come with an amber turn signal cover. Headlights in cobalts prior to 07 had the amber cover.

07+ no amber cover

before 07- presence of amber cover

Hope that clears things up

Oh trust me I know the difference between the headlights because I have 07s on my 06 and I had to give the parts guys at my local dealer a lesson in headlight changes for cobalts not too long ago but I never knew the orange piece wasn't concave. Thanks for trying to clear it up though.

Lettme tell you people who are on the fence about getting in contact with Corey:

Do it.

He is real stand up, and works with you...and as you can see he does a professional job with everything.

Just keep it all to PMs asking questions in his threads could get them locked, and make life a PITA

True^

Corey does amazing work, and the price is totally worth it. He works with you, confirms each step before he does it, and seems like he can do just about anything.

Thanks my loyal fans ... I really appreciate the compliments and I do try really hard to keep customer satisfaction as high as possible.

@andrew - haha yeah, I actually have enough extra cash now to afford tint. Does it matter if it's installed in the winter though? I was just thinking to wait until spring now. And yeah with these retrofits it kicks ass.. don't need a job during school and I'm making enough to pay for my car payment, insurance and gas every month

@steddy @ ls1 - thanks alot guys, you were awesome customers
