VIDEO: First track run with my SS/SC

Here's a vid of my very first run with the cobalt. Too bad my friends didn't get my 15.6 runs on tape. Oh well maybe next time.

(BTW the alero was supercharged)

More detailed info on my first track visit here:

running on the track the first time is always hard. don't worry, you can only do better as you continue to run at the track.

Idiots

Take a look at his location. He's dealing with some SEVERE altitude. Guys that live in/close to the Rocky Mountains (like me) will never see 14's stock.

Yeah I wish I could hit a 14.XXX up here at 5800'. That's one thing I hate about living here in CO is the altitude. I honestly didn't think a FI'd car would be affected as much by it but it is. On a cold morning I've actually seen a smidge of boost higher than 10psi, with a little over 2000 miles on the clock.

Glad you guys enjoyed the vid

it was also hot as hell that day the air was 96 i think is what my slips say. hell my first run that day with the ss with only 350 on the odo was a 17.3 at 85mph. but i had massive wheel spin and second gear just killed the car. so with not being fimialr with the car it ran all shitty. brian and i compared notes and things got better. i warned brian right be fore he ran the wheel spin and second gear were going to be a bitch.

the guy in the alero is a buddy of mine as well and he has a bunch of mod done to that car. so the SS did good considering what we had to deal with
