HA I did too, then I went to the track expecting 14.7, 14.6 and was hit with the 15.1 reality! Practice launching and shifting and you'll be in the 14s. It also depends on air conditions, my car only ran 96.5 mph meaning it wasn't making good power (90 degrees outside) other guys have run 14.8 at almost 100! If its not too hot or humid or whatever take your car out on a nice cool night.

Hi Blown -
That was great!
Nice vid - I really enjoyed watching it - thanks!
Great shots and put together well.
What was the little blue car that ran the second to last race? - it jumped out to the end ofthe 1/4 pretty quick!
Thanks for the vid!
A friend and I put together some vids last year - here is some "link" if you are interested:

14.5 for me is out of reach until september. In AZ the heat just kills power, I barly ran 14.8 a couple weeks ago and it was almost 90 outside and I had race gas in my car. If it had been cooler out I probably would have gotten a 14.3 with the race gas. Vipers were strugling to get in the 12s. In september I should be DEEP into the 14s, I just have to wait, cause the low temp here is like 80 and thats at 4 in the morning.

lol that was a funny video. BAM. hehe just great. Firebird is probably one of the most horrible places to get a run down a track. Other than the time that george (cobaltsupercharged) ran the track it is the most god aweful place to run. The track is just bad and hardly ever preped before racing starts

too true too true. If you go in febuary during pro time trials week, MAN! Imagine racing on a track prepped for cars with 7000-8000 hp! That is oddly enough the time when broken axles are quite common.
