What Are You Doing!
for sure. i have a bunch of **** id love to share with the world but id basically lose my sweet ass internship.. and lets face it.. im not ready to do that.
what version of cad are you using.. i have 07 on my computer but the company i deal with prefer i use 04 how gay is that. its the simple things like the new trim set up that i miss the most . my boss said after this project he is planning on switching over . i cant wait

We use AutoCAD because it work in our file archive better.
Also, we are running Inventor 2008 for anything that requires parametric design... then I export it or copy it over to a dwg.
At home I run Solidworks 2008.... just because I prefer their finite element and CAM add-ons.
We're currently updating from AutoCAD 2005 to the latest release.... had no reason to update til Boeing decided to sent a newer dwg file to us.
We use AutoCAD because it work in our file archive better.

Desault has seen to it that Solidworks kicks Inventor every year. They've also been in the parametrics sided of CAD for many years longer.
solidworks is about 3 levels under the industry standard stuff.
i've learned 3d mostly on CATIA and a little on DX, but catia is far better than solidworks/solidedge, IMO.
is inventor fairly easy to use?

I learned on catia, and if you are on a tight schedule, SW is your software.
(In other words, less flash, more go)
