Where to mount ballasts

Hey i recently picked up a set of GEN II's and ballasts. I have never had HIDs or anything so im not familiar with the ballasts (Heat, Vibrations Wind????) I dont really know where to mount them. Can any of you guys/girls tell me where the best place to mount them is or even better yet take some pics for me?? thanks.

I did look at the HID how to but id like to get more opinions

I mounted the ballasts for my lowbeams to the underside of the black bracket, since I used the little shelf under that for the ballasts for my fogs. Worked well for both sides, and haven't had any issues at all with them.
