Here is one
So I guess I've decided to sell my MS3. It's a great car, but I guess I'd prefer to not have a car payment right now. Cash is tight and I'm about to move to a more expensive home. And, yes, unlike the wheels awhile back, I DO want to sell it.
rundown:
2008 Mazdaspeed 3 Sport
Crystal White Pearl
46,500 miles
2nd owner
Late 2008 model, so no smoke from the turbo.
I bought the car completely stock at Suzuki of McKinney in June of last year with 35,000 miles. Clean carfax.
Modifications:
COBB AccessPort Stage 2 OTS Map (Stage2+HKS+TIH+IC 93 v2.10) (@21psi)
COBB Turbo Inlet Pipe
COBB FMIC Piping Kit with Treadstone TR8 Core
HKS Racing Suction Intake
Turbosmart Dual Port BPV
3" Catless Downpipe (No CEL)
KMD v2.1 Fuel Pump Internals
Denso ITV22 Iridium Plugs
Throttle Body Coolant Bypass
COBB Shifter Weight
Auxiliary Fan Controller with 190* Fitting (to be installed)
Megan Coilovers
JBR Adjustable Camber Arms
18x8.5" Gram Lights 57 Optimise
Continental DWS 235/40/ZR18
Rays MXP Blue Lug Nuts
Energy Suspension Front Sway Bushings (to be installed)
Shaved Side Moldings
Rolled Rear Fenders / Shaved Bumper Tabs (no rubbing)
JBR Mudguards
DG Motorsports Front Splitter
Prosport Boost Gauge
JBR Accessport Mount
LED Interior Lights
COBB Shift Knob
6000K HID Headlights
3000K HID Fog Lights
I still have pretty much all of the stock parts sitting in my apt. except for the stock suspension.
Here are the only little things to point out on the car:
Small rock chips on the front bumper
Few scrapes on the rear bumper
Paint chips here and there, but quite unnoticeable.
Wheels could do with a freshening up (curb rash here and there)
Front bumper likes to "pop" out just a tad (we're talking millimeters) on the side due to the intercooler pipes.
Front sway bar likes to make noise over bumps, but I have new bushings to cure this (common on lowered MS3's)
On to the pictures:
Before the FMIC:
Aaaand day one:
I'll try to get a full photo shoot this weekend just to get a good picture set, but those are very recent. The top photos are from CCM 14. The touchscreen is staying with me, but I have the original non-Bose stereo to replace it. I'll also toss in the install kit (which is super hard to find BTW [came from Singapore]). That alone was over $100.
With the factory parts, the car could easily be brought back to its original state. OR, since all the bolt-ons have been covered, you could drop in anything from a BNR Stage 3 to a GTX 3076 and just have fun. In its current state, with a COBB tune by Calvin, it should put down close to 300whp.
The car has always been parked in covered parking and is usually detailed at least 2-3 times a week depending on the weather. I could probably buy stock in terry cloths and become a millionaire. All oil changes have been performed at COBB Tuning in Plano at 3000 miles with Motul 5w40. I also have paperwork on pretty much everything that's happened to the car since I purchased it. I don't believe the car has ever seen a track and I've never "launched" it since I've owned it. I recently inspected the factory rear motor mount and it's in perfect shape, no leaks.
As for the price, I'm asking $15,500 firm. As said earlier, I do still owe on it, so the title will be transferred after the funds have been received, OR the loan can be transferred. If anyone has questions about the car feel free to ask. If anyone would like to see it, I can bring it to the Thursday meet. I will not allow test drives unless you are able to provide a deposit showing intent to buy. Been down that road too many times.
Well that's it for now. It's been fun, folks.

Ain't her here in dfw
Hello Everyone!
Due to some family priorities shifting, I need to sell my 2009 MS3. It has been very well maintained, never raced, non-smoker, and garage kept. Some minor wear and tear but nothing out of the ordinary with a car this age. Major modifications were performed either by Cobb and/or Texas Track Works. The car is in excellent (no smoke). I bought the car bone stock in April of 2009.
As of right now I am selling the car as is. Part-out is possible but at a later time. Car is no longer being driven and sitting in the garage!
Best way to contact me is through PM. Please no lowball offers. Motivated seller! I need the car gone as soon as possible! Thanks for looking.
