ZZP 6 Speed Transmission

Hello All,

As of recently I got a nice fun 6 speed transmission from our friends at ZZ Performance in Michigan! And let me first say that is AMAZINGLY fun. New, different, etc.

I cruised it home around 75ish I it was sitting at 2.3-2.5k, maybe 2.6. I wasn't paying too much attention as I was just enjoying driving it. I didn't beat on it at all, so no videos or anything of that, but I did make a video that talks about it for like...a minute. You all get to hear my terrible slur/lisp and see my hand.

Like I said. F40 Getrag Saab transmission. Need a bit of work to get it done properly. Custom axle, custom speed sensor, modifying the shifter, new shift cables, thicker flywheel, and different clutch and mounts. So its definitely not a DIRECT bolt on, but something that the amazing peeps at ZZP do awesomely! If you guys have more inquiries about it, I would contact Matt/Ryan/Tim! The more general stuff I can definitely answer for ya!

-Thanks for looking!

Thanks for the video man! Not sure if you are able to answer this accurately but what would this cost to get done?

It is a better and stronger trans, and as I said it requires a different clutch and flywheel.

No, it does not come with an LSD, but quaife does offer one for about 1500 if I remember correctly.

I haven't beat on the car a single time yet, so I can't answer how it is. Granted traction in this cold weather doesn't really happen anyway.

It will happen eventually. I'm in no rush to. I'm enjoying driving the car.

Not really too much shorter to be honest, but I don't know all as I haven't really hammered into it yet. I'll let you know when I ever do it.

Very carefully. :P
