i would like a black one so i wont have to paint

will this work first and formost? and if someone wants to trade straight up lmk

The G5 GT lip fits the base G5 bumper (and thus I'd assume it fits the base Cobalt bumper). The SS 2.4 has its own bumper... not sure it would fit.

It might somehow squeeze on there but it's not gonna be perfect, for that you'd need to switch to a base Cobalt rear and at that point it becomes a worthless endeavour.

I've been wanting to do this for some time. It'd be nice if a g5 GT guy and an ss/sc guy and meet and see if they line up.

Same principle. And do you know if the dimensions are different? Thats really the only thing that matters.

Probably wouldn't be the same principle since those little slots for you to cut might not be there, or in the same place.. I haven't looked at a GT rear lip. It might be a little bit small since, again, the lip fits the bottom of the base bumperz. It probably fits okay, I just wanted to mention it in case someone tried using that how-to and it failed them.

So it'd probably work well for me, a guy with an LT? I'd love the G5 GT rear lip.. then i'd have to search for a 2.4 bumper and side skirts
