2.0 runnin rich

whats up guys/gals i have a 2006 cobalt ss s/c, i have had it about a month. got it used with 8700 miles on it. i have little over 10,000 on it now. still under factory warrenty of course. i have noticed the past week or so, some dark smoke coming out of my exhaust pipe when the car is cold. when it warms up the smoke goes away. i have been monitoring my oil level and i dont think im burning oil. i just added some fuel treatment on a fresh tank of gas and still i have the smoke. i am completely stock other than ingalls td. no modifications have been made to the computer or anything... is this an easy fix or should i take it in... im only asking due to my busy work schedual, everything is closed when i get off. anyways any help would be much appreciated. thank you all for your time.

He is right. You can take any SS/SC and rev it up and it will spitt out a cloud of black smoke. Real cars spit out a little black smoke but if you see blue like a lot of Hondas and other imports than you are burning oil.

There is nothing to worry about. My car does it to and so does everyone elses. Find another person in your area with a setup just like yours and it will do the same thing. If you want you can come to wisconsin and I will show you that mine does the same thing.
