I just went to Mcdonalds and on my way back my car quit taking fuel. I stopped and the car was steal running but it sounded awful and it said reduced engine power on the dash. I shut the motor down and waited a couple minutes and started it back up and it was fine. Does anybody know what the reduced engine Performance meant?

 

It means the performance of the engine is reduced.

Also, McDonalds is terrible for you. Mays well lick radiation.

OP, were going to need more details than this..... Engine power reduced simply means that. It does not come on for X reason.

It can be a billion reasons why it came on. Was there a CEL ??

you cant just say my car is broke, how do i fix it ... that simply is not possible

 

They're terrible but totally right. I heard something on the radio about McD's getting in trouble in China for repackaging expired meat.

Go get the car scanned (a parts store will do) and find out what the codes are. 99% guaranteed there will be codes stored, even if the CEL isn't on.

 

I think the real question is was it worth the drive to McDonald's?
