2006 lsj hanging idle

What's up people...just in the women's ss again..seems like every time I get in there is something wrong with it so we go down the road to look at a house we are thinking about buying it's really wet out all the snow is melting and it's crazy water everywhere. So we stop at the lights and the car stays at 2000rpm then slowly dies down to normal. Anybody got any idea why?

b.s. drive through water like you did your wifes car and itll do the same thing. the fender well gets soaked.

even with a 100% stock air intake the filter still gets wet when you go puddle bombing. It's not waterproof.

I would check to make sure the intake is secure and in place. make sure the bottom cover is on, no piping is loose, etc. and change the filter and clean the maf while youre at it. and clean the throttle body.

It sure doesn't do that my car has mod fender wells ..and I have experienced the water entering the intake on an lsj it dose not hang idel it shuts the car down almost like a stock cobalt and has to be shut off and restarted.

Oh, well if you cleaned the TB recently, if you open/close the butterfly by hand you can ruin the throttle body.
