2010 SS/TC Flutter?
My SS/TC cobalt has 15000 miles on it and it has just recently been causing problems for me. My car loses power completely. I have a GM Stage 1 tune on it and im running 20.8 lbs of boost. Now with this problem im only running no more than 5 lbs. When i get on it, my blow off valve makes a loud flutter noise. Ive had it to the local chevy dealership twice now and they have told me there isnt anything wrong with my car. I also have a K&N short ram CAI and they said that that might be throwing off my MAF. So i dont know what is wrong with my car. Can you guys help me figure this out? Or have any of you guys had this happen to you, and what did you figure out what was wrong?
Thanks Guys

Happened to me once in a while. It happens, then the next day it's solved. I think it has something to do with your bypass valve. I wouldn't worry too much about it. My dealership couldn't find the problem as it's always being intermitent, but as I said, only happened to me 5-6 times in over 2 years of having the car.

I have the K&N and highly doubt that is what is cause it. Do you still have the factory airbod setup, if yes sway them out and then bring the car in and their lazy techs can't make up any exuses.

I don't know since I opted out of GMS1 after hearing all the problems behind it.
But from my reading on this site, I'd suggest searching about GMS1 sensors failing, bypass valve issues, purge solenoid and possible boost leaks.
I've read some people getting their sensors fixed and the problem went away, I've read people getting forge motorsports bypass valve and the problem left.
Hope this helps.

I had this problem, and the problem was the MAP sensor on the cold side of the intercooler. It was a little "loose." Wiggle it around (the wires) and just make sure all the wires are connected.

Wouldn't the lower MAP sensor also cause the RPD to not register boost? This happened to me for the second time since owning the car. Was on my way Friday night to see Hangover II and it said Data Not Avaliable on my RPD. Went away later on though. Just pisses me off.

Ok so mine is doing the exact same thing. I am going to check map sensors and possibly cut and re crimp the wire connected to the two map sensors. Other than that I am not sure. Ill let you guys know if i find anything out of wack.

Well I didn't get around to messing the the map sensor connections this weekend. Ended up taking a bike trip to AC. I'm going to try to get to it sometime this week. It shouldn't take long at all since its only a few wires. Ill keep you guys posted once I try it.
