I have the 2nd gen projectors (non-hid) and have had them for 11 months with no problems. The other day I realized they weren’t working so I checked all the connections and fuses. I found some corrosion on the left headlight plug in and cleaned it out, and cleaned all the other connections too while I was at it. I also found out the park lamp 10 amp fuse blew. I replaced the fuse and it instantly blew again when I turned the headlights back on. So I stuck a 15 amp fuse in its place and it didn’t blow. The entire left headlight works perfect, all the halos and dots work but the right headlight light bar doesn’t. Has anyone ever had one light bar go out and instead of it just dying it blows the park lamp fuse?? Any suggestions? Thanks

 

I wouldnt run a bigger fuse unless you want to fry the wiring.
Could be the ballasts going bad for the projectors and the inrush current is getting higher than it should.

 

For anyone that may have this same problem as me, I just fixed my problem earlier today; I clipped the green wire which goes to the light bar and now my headlights turn on without blowing any fuses or anything but I just don't have that one bar lit up.

 

The inverters for the halos/eyebrows suck absolute *****.
