i went to 3 shops in town today to get my clogged cat replaced but none of them will touch it cause it is to close to the block and that the dealer should do it i dont wanna give my car to the dealer for 3 days to do a simple thing

the cat is covered for 8 years under emissions warranty.
But by the look of your mods,they will probably deny you and the "No charge"but still worth a try !

I was reading the warranty booklet the other day and i thought it said only 2 years for the emissions warranty unless you live in California, then its 8 years. I thought that was wierd since it used to be 8 years everywhere as I recall. And I don't know why they would have it be shorter than the regular warranty.
