4t45 Issue

Well on the way picking up applebees i passed a car that was going under the speed limit and the rpm jumped as i passed i didnt think much of it until i can to my frist stop light, i had to be at 2k rpm to get it to move and 2.5k rpm to acelerate. when i got to applebees got my food i put it in reverses and nothin so i pushed my car back and made it home.

the tranny seems to acts normal above 20 mph but below below 20 mph its feels like your brake boosting and it starts to rly accelerate more at 20 mph. mph also seem off at low mph

history - 2 years ago i cut the trans pan open while driving leaked for about 3min drive lucky i was rly close to home but after that when it was rly cold when braking, when the car wasnt fully warmed up it acted like it didnt want to stop at low mph and just shut off, i made a post on here back then about it but came up with nothin i was thinking it was the tourqe converter never had it checked. i did have shift plus installed and was on level one, other then that trannys fully stock and my cars pushing around 240hp.

grenaded trans? trans pressure sensor? tourqe converter?

Any helps is appreciated thanks in advance

Sounds similar to what happened to me. 3rd and 4th clutches were welded.

Car only had 3rd and 4th gear. No reverse, 1st and 2nd.

Lol throw another stocker in.

What I found is 4th is SUPER weak if not shifted correctly.

If you max third out and have a good WOT shift to 4th (which is around 120 mph) its great.

But if you have partial shift into 4th and give her hell then it revs out without going anywhere and after a little bit it will kick to 3rd. Basically its slipping 4th bad. Its just weak somehow.

But thats me being supercharged...not sure what you have done.
