ABS and Traction

If there is another thread that deals with this please let me know, but I couldn't find one with my specific problem.

I have a 2.4 auto cobalt. I replaced my front pads and rotors this past weekend and the brakes work fine. However after driving about an hour after installing them, my abs light comes on along with my traction control, telling me to service traction. My buddy and I put my brakes on and did everything right, as far as we know. The weird thing is that they will come on and then when I turn the car off, they turn off and again don't come on until I have been driving for a while. Any thoughts on why the lights would be coming on?

Thanks.

Check the connectors and wires for the sensor you might of damaged something when you did the brake job.
Check you fluid level ,Could you of forced the brake cylinder into fast or far and damaged the brake module (not sure what you call it)

When I changed my brakes/rotors, I didnt see any wires/connectors.

Take the wheel off, 2 nuts, pull rotor...replace.
