Ac

I live in southern california, now that its getting hotter out. I realized that the air conditioning in our cars sucks. You barely feel it unless it is on 3 or 4, but than all you hear is the noise form the A/C.

They do suck pretty hard. Not just the noise and weakness, but the car DRAGS with the A/C on. I know it's a 4-banger, but jeez, give me a break!

Dude, The cobalt's got one of the best A/C's in the car segment, go visit the mazda forums and check out all the complaints about their A/C. I live in Florida, high humidity, high heat, and the A/C cools off quicker than any other small car I've ever owned.

You're talking apples and oranges now bro. Yes, a large V6 or V8 engine is going to cool a lot quicker than a 4 cylinder engine. Though Honestly the Cobalt's A/C cools just as quickly as the V6 ford ranger I had (and it cooled extremely fast).

I was running errands all day today. The a/c did its job wonderfully.

It was 112 today...even this very minute at 9:45, it's still 100 outside.

for the Cobalt a/c.

yeah I am in phoenix as well and the ac cools amazingly fast considering the heat phoenix is known for. If you get into the car and expect ice within the first few minutes your in for a hot drive. In my experience it is best to let the car sit with the ac blasting away before you leave anywhere and once the car cools down put it on like 2 then recirculate the already cooled off air
