Soooo, I found my problem...

IF YOU HAVE AN 05'-07' 2.0L AND THINK YOU HAVE REMOVED THE RED JUMPERS, MAKE SURE THE WHOLE JUMPER WAS REMOVED AND NOT JUST THE RED PLASTIC AROUND THE METAL PART OF THE JUMPER

I was going to put the jumpers back on and try that when I realized that the metal insert was missing from one and sure enough when I looked on the back of the gauges it was still stuck on the two pins!! ARGH!

I had an old plymouth that would overheat sometimes, so I jerryriged an installation of a light switch to turn the fan on and off with. Sometiems if the relay was commanding the fan on, and I had the switch on, turning the vehical off would let the engine keep running, due to the ignition staying hot since the switch was wired on the battery hot bus, connecting 12VDC to the van, then feeding that back through the relay to the On when Ignition is on Bus, and keeping it powered. Turning off the fan switch turned off the engine. h

It's probably not real. You can adjust it though. There is a multiplier that you can enter for it. I think its the same for your MPG as well. I tracked my gas milage average, and the MPG average on the intercepter and did some math to figure out what adjustment I needed to make to it. Never checked to see if the HP matched my dyno or not.
