Aeroforce problem

Installed this gauge, and ran the power wire to the fuse box, after trying to hook it up to the pink wire on the boost gauge it make a clicking sound like the electrical was turning on in my car. Anyway, now It won't turn on unless I unplug and plug the gauge back into the obd2 port when the car is running. Any ideas? I searched and seen something about a jumper wire...what exactly is this?

It's the red piece on the back of the gauge.

If you hook up the red power wire to an outside source like you did you have to remove the red plastic piece in order for it to function properly once you plug in the obd port, as MrBelvedere stated go online to aero force and you can download the instructions for future reference.

But he wants his Aeroforce gauge installed on top of his LSJ engine. Right between the #2 and 3 ignitions coils.

The answers to this are in the instructions that came with the gauge and can be downloaded. It even specificallys says NOT to try and hook it to the boost gauge wire.....

I searched on this site, and found many people who have successfully installed it by tapping into the factory boost gauge power wire, after I had issues with it I used a power source from the fuse box. But please continue to beat the dead horse, tell me more of these instructions you have? you say I can download them...can you link me to it..maybe send me them in the mail?. Or better yet, let's get some more people in here to say the exact same thing, but rewording it for nothing but a post count.

I got my answer by Tstone who actually wanted to help, so thanks.

Did you say there is instructions?

Naa..
Exactly!
You would have posted in electronics if you were going to do that!

Since you wanted to install/mount it between your coil packs on the engine itself
you posted in LSJ Tech

And you fail at recognizing sarcasm...did you miss the part where I already got the info I needed. So it seems like you fail at reading, or at least paying attention.

Anyways thanks for both of your, umm...help.
