Another problem arises! LOL....
Another problem arises! LOL....
To start off today was just a shitty day!
After driving to many places this afternoon, I was running my last errand. I was going to a body shop to see how much it will cost to get the holes from the spoiler welded shut and the trunklid refinished. As I am merging onto a highway all of a sudden there was no power the car went limp, I look down and there the message stated: REDUCED ENG PWR, then I started to pull off then another message appeared: ENGINE DISABLED...I am thinking great I am screwed LOL
...
After I pull off I start the car up; very rough idle and constant popping from the exhaust sounding like a semi-automatic paintball gun. So I call GM Roadside for a tow. I call after talking to the idiot who didn't listen to a word I was saying, finally sent a tow truck out. 20 minutes later I get a call from the tow service trying to pin point my location since the roadside assistance dude was an idiot. She said we have picked up a dozen cobalts over the past month for the same thing, I bet it is the fuel pump, which I think it is as well. After about a 2hr wait the tow truck arrived, he was stuck in rush hour traffic along with an overturned truck (not unusual in DE).
Towed the car to the nearest dealer and then tmw I will just have to wait for the verdict LOL...
Just sucks being without the car!

Why would I lie about this? I'm trying to help. Another thing mentioned is the throttle position sensor coming loose. Here you go https://www.cobaltss.net/forums/show...d+engine+power
