Try an L43 or a BD.
How exactly do you know you are getting a B8 (different from grade 8)?

Ooook I see what is happening here. I would order a new one and temper it your self, also known as hardening. Heat that ************ up until it is RED HOT and then all at once quench it in ice cold water. You will lose ductility, but gain strength. In this situation it will not bend, it will break, IF it ever breaks again. Just my $.02
never broken one, and im one to break **** most people break on this site.
generally im an average driver /w awesome clutch skills (never had one fail) with spirited driving every now and again. I dont do tracks.

stop banging through the gears!!!! get a stainless steel bolt 1 1/2in long and size3/16ths with a nyloc nut and that should do it. if the stainless steel breaks then you got some damn gorilla strength in you man. lol
