I have been having this weird ass noise right from start up from my car for about 3-4 months now and all its been doing is getting louder...I went to the autoparts store and bought some serpentine lubricant to get rid of the noises...It did go away for a tiny little bit but it still did it now just quiter and now it does like it did before i sprayed it...

Problem is everytime i start the car up it makes that noise, goes away after about 4 or so minutes and then when i say leave to get out of my car i smell like a burning not a real distinct burning but i guess more of a rubber smell...I noticed this smell after i sprayed that stuff on my serpentine belt and its still doing it!!!!

What should i do??

 

Take it to the dealer and have them check all the componets the belt rides on .
Sounds to me like you have a bearing going bad on something ,idler pulley ,air con etc.
Unless your belt isnt tight enough and it is slipping because of that (tensioner problem)

 

Was it doing it befor you instaled your stage 2. If it wasn't then check to see if your supercharger stage 2 pulley is aligned with the rest of the system. being out just a humph will cause problems. Before I switched to nates 2.85 pulley I too was getting belt noise/squeel from the stage 2 pulley. The face of nates pulley is thinner than the stage 2 pulley and that seamed to fix the problem.

well sooner or later im going with the 2.9 but i wanna keep my warranty as long as possible...This and little other minor problems have been pissing me off for a while now...so i will def. make them check everything

Another thing ya might wanna check is the alignment of the belt on all your pulleys. It's real easy to let the belt slip off the crank just a bit or off the A/C compressor. Your belt might not be all the way on the pulleys and have one groove sitting on the edge of something.

While installing my stage 2, it looked like the belt was on all the pulleys and I noticed that it was pretty tight on the tensioner. Almost too tight to go on. Then I looked real close to the belt on how it goes around the crank and seen that it wasn't all the way on. After that, it went on just fine.
