I'm running a full 3" exhaust and i'm guessing the culprit to my problems is the weight since I have a huge resonator on there. I had a CA catted downpipe with the mesh style flexpipe during a run with an SS camaro it decided to break off. The flexpipe tore off at the top part and I had to deal with the tractor sound for a day or two. Luckily I had a spare catless downpipe so I had the flexpipe from that welded onto the CA downpipe. Now that flexpipe is starting to rattle. Had my shop look at it and there isn't anything they can do to bulk it up or prevent the rattle. It's only audible at around 1500rpms but it is still annoying. Are there any proven flexpipes sold anywhere that are really sturdy?
