Anyone with same problem?

Just looking for similar cases, I was driving down the road the other night, and the car hesitated....didnt think anything of it kept going and a little later did the same thing. Thought it might have been a gas problem, its now day 4 and still does it, not all the time just random times. I dont know if this has anything to do with it, but i was on my way to work and had the fog lightts on.....the fog light interior light and the information display shut off for 3 seconds and came back on..... 2005 cobalt ls if anyone could help that would be great!

Battery or electrical problem it sounds like. Actually sounds like maybe a loose connection somewhere since it doesn't do it all the time, just randomly.

see, i thought it was too, but when the dic went out the radio display remained on....seeems like a bcm problem i think, and as for the hesitiating i dont know, but i know one night when i started the car i heard the fuel pump reving up and down and i pointed the lights at a wall and saw them dimming and brightning to the revving of the fuel pump...i know there is something electical wrong, but my tech at gm said its so hard to determine where its not consistant....so i tried here to see if anyone has been experiencing the same problems

No, I haven't had the same thing. I would think they could at least do a trial and error thing. Follow a wiring diagram or two and check some connections.

in my previous car(04 tiburon) i was having similar problems, it would randomly heisitate and sometimes the idle would be a little low, after investigating myself, cus the dealer was no help all they wanted to do was blame my mods on the problem, i found a small crack in a hose coming out of the throttle body. at idle i would open up the crack a little more and the idle was fluctuating as i was doing that. anywho check your hoses, it could be that

I have been experiencing similar issues on my 06. After comign to a stop sometimes the lights will dim. On some occassions the radio volume also decreases and the A/C blower cuts out. This seems to occur for just a secodn or so for me. I have also noticed on occassion the instruemnt lights flickering when accelerating. As far as hesitation I've noticed the car hesitate heavily for a moment one occassion, usually just after completing a shift (5-speed). Finally, I have had instances were the RPMs surge up and down about 500RPMs. I mainly notice this at low speed in low gears. I'm taking my ca rinto the shop today, but I'm afraid I won;t get a resolution since the issues are intermittent. Please let me know if anyone find a resolution for these issues.

well i have seen some of these issues although not all of them between you 2 and there is a calibration for some of your issues.

and as for your dealer not being much help, most people don't realize that for warranty claims on our end we really only get 1 chance to solve your exact complaint. after that gm does'nt usually want pay and being that the industry is flate rate means i dont get paid if the car comes back with the same comlaint. so unless i can diagnose the problem, im not even going to try and guess what the issue is. although i will do everything i can to either verify your complaint, find a bulletin or reprogram and even ask some of the older guys if they have ever come across this problem.

When the lights go Dim

My lights interior and head lights on the old car did that with the engine Rpm.
It was actually the voltage regulator in the alternator.
If you boost some one and the cables touch evben for a second the dead shoprt will fry
the diodes.
