Problems/Service/Maintenance Do you have problems with your new 2.0, 2.2, or 2.4L? What kind of service did you have done?

Anyone using this Prestone antifreeze/coolant?

Anyone using this Prestone antifreeze/coolant?

Prestone® American Vehicles (Orange) Antifreeze + Coolant

Advertises a 10-year, 300,000 mile service life.

I also have a gallon of concentrate, Prestone Extended Life with a 5-year/150,000 service life.
I might use this latter stuff this time around.
Either or both seem OK?

I mean it states its safe for 95+ GM vehicles so I wouldn't see any issue using it, assuming they're the same types of coolant no issues blending as long as the ratio is correct for your freeze protection needs.

I used this is my car after I did a coolant flush and have had no issues to date (blended with water to 50/50 volume basis) https://www.oreillyauto.com/detail/c...centrate&pos=0

Hi ECaulk,
Thanks for your post.
I followed the link, thanks. Good advice.
I'm trying to safely wean the car off the AC Delco bandwagon for fluids & whatever else it needs that's good quality, popular, and sold locally.
I guess I'll save the stuff I've got. It's unopened with no expiration date, so maybe use it at some future date.
Cheers!
