ATE Superblue brake fluid

Its dot 4, but has anybody used it and liked it?

Thought the blue fluid would make it easy to see when the brakes are being bled.

And it is safe to run dot4 in our cars right, jw since it says only use dot3

It works fine in the Cobalt and the blue color is nice for bleeding the brake system, however it is massive overkill for anything other than hardcore track use.

Currently use this in my setup. Completely fine for dot 3 replacement, most on the market now label fluid as both 3 and 4. The blue is great for bleeding, plus they have a gold one to alternate between so you know all the old is out and the new is in. May be overkill, but I like to stop lol.

I was getting fluid fade, it feels like the brakes get progressively softer throughout a run (autox). The fluid wasn't boiling but was getting close to it, but will only boil during some real track time. If it boils it will feel very soft and you'll end up hitting the floor with the brake. I run ate superblue now and love it, no more fluid fade and the color makes for easy bleeding.

^This guy beat me to it. Most people will alternate every year between the superblue and the gold colored dot4 fluid.

I also use this on my SS/TC. I swapped it in before I hit Road America back in April. It works great, I love not having to worry about the brake fluid, especially when your wheels and lug nuts are still too hot to touch even a couple minutes after a session is over. It almost feels like it firms the brake pedal up a little bit too, which is good. You also only need about 2/3rds of a can. Me and a buddy just bought a 2 pack from an online performance shop and just split the cost.
