This has happened twice on two different occasions where my drivers side lock won't lock or unlock. It plain and simple won't do anything. If it is unlocked it won't lock and vice versa. I have smoothlocks installed on both doors so if my drivers side doesn't unlock i then have to go thru my passenger side to manually unlock it = pain in my @ss!

i used both remotes with the same result. let me add a little twist. it just started working again yesterday. out of nowhere my drivers side door now locks and unlocks just fine. WTF?

i had the same problem..wat i did to fix it was,i press locked/unlocked 5-7 times and it fixed it..last time it happened to me was like 2 months ago and still hasnt happened since

this damn lock problem happened to me again and i tried what u suggested and it started working again, WTF! thx again for the tip and why does this keep happening.

Are you talking about it wont lock or unlock when you try to use the remote key. If so maybe the battery on your key is dying. Mine was barely working so I went to a Chevy dealer and got a new battery. I was less than $8.

 

it's not the battery cuz my other remote does the same thing. one day it'll just take a **** and not work. and the **** poor thing is it started happening again after i had put on the smoothlocks. so when this occurs i have to go over to the passenger side and get in to unlock the drivers side. plus it does this randomly. it'll work fine for a few weeks then like i said it'll take a big ol ****, thing is it happens only to the drivers side. the passenger side lock works all the time.

 

my car wont unlock from the inside on the drivers side...i think my switch is broken..which sucks cause i never really use it
