I know my car isnt a cobalt but it is the sister car. i have a 2007 pontiac G5, and i am having issues with the alarm fob not working, the auto start button, when pressed causes the alarm to go off and the door unklock button is not working. any suggestions

 

the only thing i can think of is just go get it re-progrmed, mine was acting up like not working sometimes, and the dealer just re-programed and now it works better, hope it helps. I have no clue why your alarm would be going off when you press the start button, sorry i cant help more!

 

open the fob, and check the soldering on the battery bracket. If you can wiggle it and it breaks off, then it needs to be resoldered. I posted a HOW TO, but the mods haven't approved it yet.
