B&M ShiftPlus Problem

Ok, I know a bunch of you guys have these now, some have had them for some time (Hack) Have any of you had a problem with yours? I noticed today that my Stage 1 wasn't working. It still let it rev higher like it does on Stage 1 but the shift was not aggressive like it should be, It was the same as stock. Stage 2 was still working, but I prefer stage 1 for regular trips. Has anyone had this problem as well? I just installed it less than a month ago so I really want to make sure I don't have a broken or defective one.

Anyone have this problem or any suggestions? I was too busy today to really take it out and look at it. but i did give it a good squeeze together and it clicked like it was locking back in. If that doesnt work I'll prob check the connections, but I don't think its that since the stage 2 still works.

Any input would be great, if not; I'll just have to go back to the vendor and hopefully they will help me out.

Sounds like a loose connection. Mine comes loose all the time. Sometime its just loose enough to turn on and off in between bumps. I would suggest looking at the connections and make them good and solid by soldiering them or using different connectors. The connectors supplied with the unit are not very good and allow too much movement for the wires to come disconnected.

I didn't use the connectors. I spliced the wires together together for a direct contact. but I am still going to check on them

Bump for the morning guys. I gave it a good squeeze together this morning and pushed the switch in just a little extra and it clicked. then it shifted correctly. I will try later without these extra steps.
