I checked the fuse and its all good, »If i play with the reverse shifter sometimes they light up. Here's my ?, is there a back up switch, i took the console apart and cant find it, is it by the tranny?

Yes its a 2006 cobalt ss manual, so its outside the tranny, so I got to go under the car to change it,, thanks, now lets see if the dealer can find the part haha.

Mine went out on me also,
The switch ran about 20 bux....
I have the MU-3 Tranny, and the switch was ontop of the transmition accessable from
the hood. Not shure where it is on the Getrag Tranny... I'll look it up

Ok Found it. The Getrag tranny reverse light switch is just above the output drive shaft on the left side.
