Variable Cam Timing Solenoid
I've had an issue for a while now. Under WOT the car would on the occasion run into Limp Mode. The obvious run like ****.. and so on. I usually relearned the car everytime it happened and it would go away. Until last night where I couldn't be in control of it anymore. I took it to the dealership and they diagnosed it as the Variable Cam Timing Solenoid being bad. Who here has had this happen before? I've never heard of this issue before on this car.
Edit: The Tech was confusing over the phone. I believe its named "Variable Cam Timing Solenoid" Correct me if I'm wrong.

I believe that's the piece that controls the vairable timing on the cams - if it goes then the cams don't adjust as the computer requests and things probably get screwy. I don't think that's a common failure, but anything can happen.
