Battery light/electrical problem

Hey everyone, i have an 08 2.2 sedan and last week i was cruising around and i got the battery light. After parking and turning the car back on the light was gone. Drove 20 miles home with no problems. The last few days it has been coming on and off with no other electrical issues (dim lights, ect.) However, yesterday i was driving to my buddies place to get a pcm scan (go figure) and i go to put down the windows and my music cuts out. Then i get a "service traction" message and my abs and traction lights are on. I pull over turn it off, and it wont start. Just clicking. So i come back to it a few hours later and bam, starts fine. Drive it for a bit, battery light. Any ideas? Im not driving it until its figured out, i dont want it dying again.
Thanks alot.

-car is completely stock

your alternator is failing, causing low battery voltage, thus creating issues to other circuits in your car to screw up.
